Job Description for the Role of Warehouse Management: -
- Will be responsible for overall warehouse operations and service levels management.
- Appointment, management, performance review of 3P Warehouse Service Providers.
- Appointment, management, performance review of Trasporter/ Logistics Partners.
- Coordinate for warehouse lease and related matters
- 80% time to be spent at warehouse locations for better control on warehouse activities and balance 20% at HO.
- KPIs:-
TAT (Turn Around Time) management for:
- Material Inward / Good Receipt
- Material Outward / Good Issues ( On Time in Full)
- Receiving LR from Transporters to Communication of LR to Customers
- Repacking activity time taken
Inventory:
- Ensure Daily/Weekly Cycle Count are adhered.
- Ensure Monthly / Quarterly Stock Taking with Warehouse and taking timely actions on stock variances.
- 100% Stock Accuracy/ Zero Stock Variance
- Inventory – Following up with BUs for Slow moving, Expiry Stock liquidation plan
- Monthly follow up with BUs and taking action plan for Imperative product list.
- Doing Inventory Planning – Demand/Supply planning in coordination with BU
- FEFO – Ensure that FEFO is followed and putting appropriate mechanism in place to assure FEFO
Cost:
- Ensure Warehousing Cost & Transport is within the budget.
- Having a good negotiation process for Freight Rates and other warehousing cost components. Getting competitive/multiple quotes for overall freight cost reduction.
- Working on overall Distribution cost reduction. Monthly Tracking of distribution cost and taking improvement measures.
Customer Service & Audits:
- Ensure Zero Customer complaints due to Warehouse / Transport services
- Follow time and timely closure of customer complaints with CAPA
QSHE:
- Ensure that warehouse and Transport activities are in compliance with the QSHE guidelines.
- Ensure Quality Systems, SOPs are followed at all warehouses.
- Ensure timely trainings of warehouse teams.
- Ensure all the Licenses related to warehouse/ Transport are timely renewed and all other regulatory compliances are met.
Others: Work on continuous improvements.
