Waiter

We are looking for a polite, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Waiter to join our team in Dindigul. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a restaurant or hotel setting, be well-groomed, and possess excellent communication and service skills.

• Greet and escort customers to their tables.
  
• Present menus, provide detailed information on specials, and take food and beverage orders.
  
• Serve food and drinks to guests efficiently and professionally.
  
• Ensure tables are set up properly before guests arrive and promptly clear tables after they leave.
  
• Deliver exceptional customer service and address guest inquiries or complaints courteously.
  
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  
• Process bills and handle payment transactions when required.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area at all times.
  
• Adhere to hotel/restaurant policies, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
  
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience as a Waiter in a hotel or restaurant.
  
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
  
• Good communication skills (Basic English and Tamil preferred).
  
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to handle cash/card payments and operate POS systems (if required).
  
• Well-groomed, presentable, and physically fit to stand and serve for long hours.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables efficiently.
  
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and shifts as required.
