Strategic

• Support the product development in Rates vertical.

Financial

• Achieve Rates product PnL and Support the delivery of relevant hedging  services to customers to meet revenue targets for department.

Customer

• Anticipate as well as be sensitive to shifting customer expectations and guide the department to consider appropriate measures to ensure the Bank stays ahead of competitors.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally. 
• Work in partnership with colleagues across all regions to share best practice, deliver an integrated regional service for our customers, develop new business and create effective processes. 
• Work in partnership with Systems department on trading system enhancements by providing Subject Matter Expert on trading system requirements.
• Promote calibration with the sales desk in order to ensure optimal delivery of the group’s products and services related to interest rate and/or derivatives.

People

• Act as a role model to team members and adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

Other/Control

• Execute trading deals on behalf of BTMU in an efficient and effective manner in order to achieve the desk’s budget.
• Proactively contribute to the portfolio to ensure minimal risk and maximum profit.
• Ensure the operations of the trading desk are accurately executed.
• Active involvement in Global Markets projects with an onus on successful implementation.
• Participate in relevant committees within the Branch.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits.
• Contribute to processes, policies and guidelines to deliver continuous improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in order to increase revenue and mitigate risk to the Bank.
• Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
• Adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

Skills & Knowledge :

• Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence others and sell products.
• Broad and deep knowledge in Foreign Exchange products and experience in working in financial markets.
