Job Summary:


The Data Visualization & Product Development Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of data visualization strategies to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves managing a team of data visualization specialists, collaborating with various departments to understand their data needs, and creating compelling visualizations that communicate complex data insights effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, visualization tools, and team leadership.


Based at our Bengaluru India corporate office, you will report directly to the Data & Insights Leader for ISC


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data visualization strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Identify key metrics and KPIs to be visualized for different departments and stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistency and best practices in data visualization across the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data visualization Analysts & specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, data architects and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable visualizations.
  • Present data visualizations and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
  • Ensure the team is proficient in using these tools and stays updated on new features and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies as needed.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations and reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data visualization efforts.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data visualization activities.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data visualization.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data visualization, data analytics, or a related field.

Key Competencies:


  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar.
  • Experience in Enterprise Cloud data platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS)
  • Experience in Enterprise Datawarehouse (e.g., BigQuery, OBI)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
