Job Description: Visionplus Business Analyst
Location, Pune/ Bangalore/ Chennai/ Hyderbad
Software Requirements:
- Proficiency in VisionPLUS modules and system integration.
- Understanding of parameter setup, data mapping, and functional gap analysis.
- Familiarity with portfolio migration requirements and traceability matrix development.
- Experience with testing processes, including test plan and script development.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements for seamless integration and functionality of VisionPLUS.
- Perform parameter setup and data mapping to new platforms.
- Conduct functional gap analysis and assist in analyzing portfolio migration requirements.
- Facilitate tracking of portfolio migration requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Document portfolio migration requirements clearly in standard formats.
- Provide work estimates and assess impacts of changes to requirements or scope.
- Assist the Project Manager in enforcing project deadlines and schedules.
- Guide the development of test plans and test scripts.
Category-wise Technical Skills:
VisionPLUS Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with sub-systems: CMS Posting, FAS, TRAMS, VMx.
Programming & Tools:
- Mainframe experience: JCL, COBOL, VSAM, CICS.
- Knowledge of Vision Flex (preferable).
Methodologies:
- Experience in project methodologies: Waterfall, Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a relevant domain.
- Proven experience with VisionPLUS or similar systems in a financial or insurance context.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Document and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Assist in project planning and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct meetings with stakeholders to clarify and finalize requirements.
- Participate in testing phases to validate solutions against requirements.
Qualification:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's degree (MBA), or equivalent from an accredited institution.
