As a Vice President - Wealth Management Mortgages, you are an integral part of the team that Support Mortgage Specialists in managing application pipelines, including: submitting amendments to mortgage applications, completing pricing tools, providing post funding support

Job Responsibilities:


  • Support Mortgage Specialists in managing application pipelines, including: submitting amendments to mortgage applications, completing pricing tools, providing post funding support, etc. 
  • Preparing presentations and materials for client and prospective client meetings
  • Ensure all processes and deadlines for service level agreements are met
  • Respond to data quality questions and research/resolve all issues
  • Coordinate with Mortgage Solutions to ensure all requirements for home owner’s insurance, title contacts, ownership structure, and legal documents are completed
  • Assist with the underwriting development process by following-up on underwriting inquiries
  • Coordinate the application, origination, and closing process end-to-end, including receipt of all necessary documentation from clients and/or Bankers
  • Regular (ideally monthly and at least quarterly) attendance on market huddles, including preparation and presentation of material for updates on behalf of mortgage solutions and banker training/engagemen
  • Explain rationale for pricing exceptions
  • Ensures regulatory accountability & that business is executed in controlled manner, continues identifying risk and escalates as appropriate. Helps sustain our firm’s culture of character, commitment and strength
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum of 12 Years of work experience in the financial services industry
  • Well versed in industry knowledge with the ability to effectively use data to develop and implement business plans that deliver results; and be nimble to make tactical shifts based on broader macro environment as needed
  • Exceptional leadership skills and executive presence to drive growth and excellence within the practice along with strong connectivity across the firm
  • Be an owner of the practice, the products and experience with an ability to drive, influence, co-create and be accountable for the different aspects impacting the business
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills to ensure timely collection of loan documentation.
  • Self-motivator with an ability to facilitate change
  • Ability to attract, support, develop and lead the firm’s diverse talent; demonstrate the strength to train the team in the core business (Mortgage Solutions) roles and responsibilities 
  • Mentorship, participation in BRGs, Affinity Groups, DE&I initiatives and community service through nonprofit boards and organizations to have a broader impact
  • PowerPoint and Excel expertise required
  • To be flexible to work any shifts including night shift.
