Citi’s Risk Management organization oversees Citi’s risk governance framework and risk appetite, ensures all risks generated by the firm’s businesses are measured, reviewed, and monitored on an ongoing basis.
We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Risk Reporting Officer - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Vice President - C13) based in Mumbai, India. In this role, you’re expected to:
The Risk Reporting Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business.Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are requiredto guide, influence and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas.Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work with minimal direct supervision and provide simplified and strategic solutions to the business rather than building lift and shift solutions as directed.
Responsibilities:
Consolidate and Simplify the reporting construct, provide efficient solutions while adhering to the timelines
Identify the right tool for a reporting vs dashboarding solution
Work with Technology to create a reporting data layer for building fast and efficient dashboards / reports
Comply by the ITeSS standards of development
Work comfortably in a controlled environment by following enterprise guidelines
Think out of the box and challenge status quo
Contributes to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc. that detail risks inherent in Credit, Market, Operational or other Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety of areas including but not limited to: portfolio concentrations, limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves or high-risk exposures.
Provide strategic reporting solutions for Market Risk teams.
Partner with IT and Business to drive standardized views across reporting and create scalable solutions across Risk teams
Engages with teams across management Reporting to understand current Reporting deliverables.
Conducts process reviews to ensure Reporting processes are efficient and lean.
Understands larger themes across the firm in order to drive standardized views across reporting.
Works with technology to ensure system enhancements are aligned with the needs of management reporting.
Trains new team members in standard methodologies and tools.
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
10+ years BI experience preferred.
Specialized skills on Tableau, Python, Data Architecture, Data warehouse
Experience in Dashboard Development, Advanced Python scripting, workflow development
Experienceworking with senior business stakeholders
Ability to influence and drive users to adopt strategic solutions
Experience with Market Risk data is added advantage
Experience with reporting using different BI tools and different databases; Understanding of SQL / query execution optimization is desirable
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
