Citi’s Risk Management organization oversees risk-taking activities and assesses risks and issues independently of the front line units. We establish and maintain the enterprise risk management framework that ensures the ability to consistently identify, measure, monitor, control and report material aggregate risks.
We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Reporting Analyst – Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Risk Reporting Officer - C13) based in Mumbai, India. In this role, you’re expected to:
· Undertake quantitative and qualitative analysis to produce executive summary insights, and present findings in a way that can be easily understood.
· Oversee quantitative business execution operations for example budget burndown tracking and headcount management.
· Design and build reporting solutions that support and DART’s operating mandate, and business unit decision-making.
· Gather, collect, and analyze relevant data from various sources. Including cleaning up and structing the data to ensure accuracy and reliability; identifying patterns or trends leveraging software and tools and preparing dashboards or reports based on the analysis, highlighting key findings and insights.
· Manage the reporting data elements collection, storage, and integration processes, ensuring alignment of the data quality and data privacy guidelines.
· Analyze, interpret, and report monitoring and control insights to facilitate metrics driven business decisions.
· Design and develop dashboards and systems for reporting business operating effectiveness.
· Enhance analytical and reporting functions, as well as supervising performance and quality assurance processes.
· Document the standard operating procedures of the team’s management reporting processes.
· Create visual content including maps, charts, and graphs. Transform data sets, or quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals.
Resource Management Oversight
· Manage and oversee CAO monitoring and oversite activities: Budgeting, Headcount Planning and Projections, Capacity Planning, Location Strategy, Talent Recruitment, Organizational Design Compliance, and T&E (Travel and Expense)
· Facilitate strategic planning and communication to senior forums, regarding administrational activities and functions within DART.
· Provide executive updates regarding budgeting and headcount planning so that the organization can meet resource needs and plan for gained operational efficiencies.
· Work with leadership team and hiring managers to understand and action headcount resourcing needs.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
· Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree referred) in Computer Science or Data Science
· 10-12 years’ experience in large financial services or similar institutions to include coordination across multiple businesses/segments (i.e., Risk Management, HR, Finance etc.)
· In depth understanding of Risk Management and Risk Reporting, and Budget / Capacity Planning.
· Extensive knowledge pertaining to CAO-related activities (budgeting, headcount, location strategy etc.).
· Technical writing experience
· Experience interfacing with senior management, including at the Director and Managing Director level.
· Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence at a senior level, as well as work across many levels of business and functional stakeholders.
· Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills
· Proven strength and ability in Risk data analysis/analytics and risk management reporting.
· Experience and technical ability with business intelligence tools (i.e., Tableau, Micro-Strategy, QlikView, Business Objects etc.).
· Highly proficient and/or familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint etc.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills needed for influencing senior management decisions.
· Ability to operate autonomously in order to make independent, strategic, and thoughtful decisions in order to identify and remediate problems and realize efficiencies across the function.
