SSGA Global Trading:
Global Trading is comprised of 4 regional trading desks, located in Boston, London, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The desks are staffed by approximately 40 traders and cover Equity, FX, Derivatives, and Fixed Income asset classes. Supporting Global Trading is the Trade Analytics Group, part of which is the Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) Services team.
Purpose of Role:
This position will be responsible for leading the global TCA efforts by providing management and leadership for TCA outcomes in terms of Post Trade, Pre Trade, and client facing TCA custom deliverables on specific asset classes for the Trade Analytics Group.
Specific Duties:
Provide leadership for close integration with IT development teams to enable front end technology modernization for TCA framework
Development of Business intelligence data hub for trade cost reporting and analysis.
Develops and maintains knowledge of micro, macro market structure, liquidity, volatility structure in order to bring an informed perspective to the process.
Provides trading performance metrics and implicit cost analysis to key business partners, including the SSGA trading desks and SSGA oversight committee.
Assist in strategic Trade Analytics Group deliverables, TCA reporting, as well as powering analysis to support the rest of the team, including execution consulting and enhancement of deliverable standard.
Originates, designs, implements, and presents strategic outcomes to identify, measure, and reduce transaction costs.
Technical and Education Requirements:
Trade Analytics/TCA is a specialized area within Investment Management. The candidate will be provided training and the tools necessary to be successful in this position.
Experience:
Candidate must have 8-12 years of solid experience in post trade analytics/transaction cost analysis technology or processes for any investment banking /asset mgmt. firm. Experience with market data products such as Bloomberg and business analytics tools is mandate. Managements and Leadership experience.
Education
Bachelors/Maters degree in Finance and Technology.
