Principal responsibilities

• The incumbent will be responsible for managing a Model Development function of bespoke analytical products, services and solutions to help the Regulatory Compliance function identify, measure and mitigate emerging regulatory risk. The candidate will also need to undertake the role of a model owner and proactively manage the emanating risk exposures owing to Model risk policy changes. 
• Promote a culture of data driven decision making, aligning short term decisions and investments with longer term vision and objectives
• Help the business to manage regulatory risk in a more effective, efficient and commercial way through the adoption of data science (AI/ML and advanced analytics)
• Support communication and engagement with stakeholders and partners to increase understanding and adoption of data science products and services.
• Collaborate with other analytics teams across the banks to share insight and best practice.
• Foster a collaborative, open and agile delivery culture
• Build positive momentum for change across the organization with the active support and buy-in of all stakeholders
