We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President - Decision Science

Principal responsibilities
- An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role where you will be responsible for:
- Implementing the designed operating procedures which underpin the execution of the RMF Responsibilities, primarily in relation to 1. Advice and Challenge 2. Monitoring of Risk Appetite 3. RCA Review and Challenge 4. Controls, Issues, Actions and Events 5. Oversight of key Regulatory Reporting change initiatives and 6. Reporting and Governance.
- Identify areas of improvement in the Risk Stewardship operating model, design and execute the uplift solution.
- Critically reviewing and challenging 1LOD deliverables and solutions (e.g. process maps, RCA’s, remediation plans and MSII management actions plans).
- Leading engagement with the 1LOD reporting teams and senior WPB stakeholders (e.g. WPB CROs).
- Understanding the Regulatory Reporting rules currently in effect and maintaining an awareness of Regulatory Reporting Developments (e.g. Basel 3). Role holder will be responsible for oversight of the 1LOD plan to embed new reporting requirements into BAU.
- Succinctly report the Risk Stewardship activities performed and propose Risk Map ratings to the relevant WPB CRO.
- Identify areas where further MI is required to accurately assess the risk within Regulatory Reporting.
- Work with the IRR Program to resolve any existing blockers to fully executing the Risk Stewardship RMF responsibilities.
- Leading and mentoring GCB 5 team members.
