You will be working alongside a team of professional product managers, businesses, and functions to provide you with the opportunity to take your career to the next level. 


As a Vice President, Area Product Owner, in Open Invest Data Analytics & Reporting Team, you will lead the development of analytical solutions for OpenInvest within Wealth Management. Your role will involve creating foundational platforms and tools that support sustainable and values-based investing, including those for portfolio optimization, custom indexing, and impact measurement. Collaborating with global cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in advancing OpenInvest's mission of aligning capital with values.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop foundational capabilities that enhance data production efficiency, eliminate redundancies, and ensure high data quality, ultimately delivering best-in-class client experiences that support sustainable and values-based investing.
  • Define and execute the product vision, applying best practices and leveraging market and technology trends.
  • Manage the product backlog using data-driven insights and write clear user stories.
  • Drive data quality improvements and generate actionable insights from diverse sources, ensuring that data reliability directly supports better investment decisions.
  • Set and align team objectives with broader product goals, measuring success through well-designed OKRs focused on business outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including business (regulatory, product, and advisory teams) and engineering teams, to lead development, ensure alignment, and prioritize the most impactful features.
  • Execute prioritized initiatives on the product roadmap, focusing on foundational capabilities that empower advisor and client-facing teams to create impactful solutions and deliver superior client experiences that support sustainable and values-based investing.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies and ensure development stays on track.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Graduate/Post-Graduate with 10+ years of experience in Banking/Financial Services, including 5+ years in product management with agile practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, strong data literacy, and deep knowledge of technology and its applications.
  • Experience with financial market data, particularly ESG, producing data at scale, and strong knowledge of financial services and market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, MSCI, FactSet).
  • Proven track record managing scrum backlogs, using agile methodologies, and familiarity with product ownership, including project planning, resource management, and requirements management.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing both technical challenges (e.g., system development, platform capabilities) and functional challenges (e.g., business processes, stakeholder requirements).
  • Ability to work independently, manage expectations, and communicate effectively across teams, including global team members in the United States across different time zones.
  • Experience using innovation and design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems and improve processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Technical proficiency, such as familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java.
  • Experience in portfolio construction or model portfolio management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Deep expertise in Sustainable Investment practices or Due Diligence processes, with a strong understanding of industry standards and trends.
  • Passion for emerging technologies and digital solutions.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization with global stakeholders.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred
