Software Requirements:
- Proficiency in V+/Mainframes development
- Strong knowledge of CMS and FAS modules
- Experience with development and unit testing
- Familiarity with mainframe tools and technologies
Overall Responsibilities:
- Perform development and unit testing independently with minimal guidance
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
- Conduct walk-throughs independently with customers and internal teams for development and design-related activities
- Backup the team lead during their absence
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Technical Skills:
Mainframes Development:
- Strong proficiency in V+/Mainframes development
- Extensive knowledge of CMS and FAS modules
Development and Testing:
- Ability to perform development and unit testing independently
- Familiarity with mainframe tools and technologies
Mentoring and Leadership:
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Ability to provide technical guidance and support
Communication and Collaboration:
- Strong communication skills for conducting walk-throughs and liaising with customers and internal teams
Experience:
- 4+ years experience in V+/Mainframes development
- Strong background in CMS and FAS modules
- Experience in mentoring and leadership roles
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Perform development and unit testing of mainframe applications
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical support
- Conduct walk-throughs with customers and internal teams for development and design-related activities
- Backup the team lead during their absence
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in V+/Mainframes development with a focus on CMS and FAS modules
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
