Candidates will be expected to take on the following tasks:


  • Maintain existing infrastructure and monitor critical services


  • Identify issues early and suggest operational improvements


  • Identify recurring issues and drive automated resolution behind them


  • Analyze business requests and suggest and implement effective solutions


  • Set up and monitor backups and data replication


  • Build new servers, including hardware install in data center and installing OS and software


  • Maintain and monitor AWS infrastructure


  • Evaluate and implement new software and services with security and redundancy in mind


  • Document and set up monitoring for any new servers or services


  • Write and maintain scripts for automated monitoring and maintenance


  • Patch servers and network devices


  • Implement new GPO policies and improve AD/GPO infrastructure


  • Work with external network providers to manage changes and handle outages


  • Respond to escalated tickets and troubleshoot any reported problems


  • Collaborate with the Operations Team and Senior IT Manager to ensure systems security and connectivity.


  • Assist in support of network Firewalls, switches, and routers


  • Assist in identifying and resolving security issues as they arise


  • Linux server administration including troubleshooting, networking, etc. 


On-call and off-hours support will be required as part of this position.
