This role is critical for the Ultrasound business, tasked to drive cost and quality improvements.The specific focus is establishing and using data and feedback to identify cost and quality improvements for ULS products, partnering with R&D and others to establish improvement projects, helping to drive execution and tracking and reporting results.This role will also have an added emphasis on reliability and complaints for SSD, partnering with R&D and Q&R to drive reporting, insights, and improvements for all products.


Your role:


  • Monitor, measure, analyze and report Ultrasound product performance against targets to ensure the agreed objectives / commitments will be met.Specific focus on cost and complaints.Also responsible to drive execution of improvements for operational targets.


  • Drive improvements to product performance.Drive identification of productivity opportunities and complaint opportunities as well as ensuring execution of projects that deliver improvements for S&SD.


  • Define KPI, dashboard and analytics requirements to manage performance of the responsible products.


  • Request for / suggest improvements, bringing product performance back on track considering an integrated perspective, contributing to cross-function / cross-business collaboration


  • Create and own reliability dashboards; partner with R&D to gather data and create this data.


  • Identify projects to improve reliability and partner with functions to deliver improvements, including how to track and measure these improvements.


  • Partner with Performance Manager to identify, create and drive serviceability improvements to products; gather insights from customers and the markets by various methods including complaints data, service data and machine data.


  • Drive reliability and quality metrics, with innovation team, in NPIs.


  • Drive analytics that identify benefits from SW updates and releases, including how to measure and report benefits; partner with product support team to identify needed improvements.


  • Establish mechanisms to connect with market teams to gather feedback on existing improvement opportunities as well as identifying new opportunities.

Ultrasound S&SD Operations team, reporting to the Ultrasound S&SD Operations Director.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in Engineering, Computer Science or Statistics / Data Science Background or related discipline.


  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with business reporting and data analytics tools.


  • Customer centric. Ability to interact put customer’s needs and customer’s experience at the fore forefront of all activities.


  • Project or Program management experience:  implementing programs in cross functional teams.


  • Strong analytical and process skills.


  • Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen.


  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.


  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well within a matrix, diverse, global and cross-functional environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 15+ years of experience in Healthcare industry, ideally with clinical engineering, biomed and / or IT.


  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate internally.


  • Understanding of LEAN and associated tools, including use and creation of Daily Management Boards.


  • Understanding of Field Service Delivery.


  • Understanding of Software and hardware development process.


  • Performance Management.
