In this role, you’re expected to:
The Services Cash Credit Risk Management team is a subset of Services Risk Management, which consists of a core group of professional risk managers who develop, design and implement active risk management strategies for the entire business front to back. Most of the current work encompasses managing credit risk, process risk in payment and liquidity business, intra-day exposure, balance sheet exposure and pro-active portfolio analysis. Services Cash Risk Management is a vertical unit providing full range of risk advisory services to the front line businesses in their product implementation and partners with Operations, Technology, Compliance and Legal to mitigate P&L impacts to Services Business.
Responsibilities:
Resolve issues and recommend solutions to moderate problems
Integrate specialty area knowledge with an understanding of industry standards and practices and how teams collaborate to accomplish goals of the sub-function/ job family
Serve as an industry expert and advisor
Analyze and approve counter-party credit limits for trading, transactional and financing businesses with funds
Develop risk management framework and processes for funds
Advise businesses and clients on transaction structures and negotiate credit terms
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5 + years of relevant experience
A good understanding of TTS Payments products, LMS and Securities Services products, their set ups and interactions with risk and product systems
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
