OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:


The TS PRT  is responsible to perform the following : -


  • Manage PRT team in PRT Zonal location and its workload
  • Ensure on-time troubleshooting at mainline/ PRT location to maintain fleet availability according to contractual commitments
  • Ensure contribution to fleet availability according to contractual commitments during warranty phase
  • Take responsibility to manage local small warehouse
  • Take lead on RCA, Governance and Corrective actions from Supplier
  • Ensure contribution to Reliability Growth and Return of Experience
  • Guarantee the application of EHS rules and WI processes
  • Manage Field issues and own field situation

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Customer relation
  • Provide up-to-date data/ information on fleet status to internal and external customers
  • Liaise with customer for depot management and loco Maintenance
  • Operation
  • Manage Prompt Response Team(PRT) in one PRT zonal location and its workload
  • Ensure on-time troubleshooting at mainline/ PRT location to maintain fleet availability according to contractual commitments
  • Timely creation of Service Notification and timely closure of Service Order
  • Ensure contribution to fleet availability according to contractual commitments


  • Take responsibility to manage local field issues with complete ownership.
  • Take responsibility to manage local small warehouse Coordinate with Suppliers for field modification implementation with material, tools, documentation, qualified resources (if necessary)
  • Prompt Response Team will report to Saharanpur depot and will be posted at any of the Indian railways sites mentioned herein tantative posting location may be Mughal Sarai, Delhi, Kota, Kharagpur, Kanpur, Etarsi, New Katni, Asansol, Talchar, Brajrajnagar, Vijaywada or any other company site as per the company requirements.
  • Suppliers Governance, Warranty Implementation and secure Repair Loop
  • Management of ERP data for Warranty Tracking
  • Contribute to WI image and skills acknowledgement
  • Organize and optimize warranty spares repair loop incl. Intervention reports
  • Contribute to claims and negotiations with external supplier (regarding warranty)
  • Ensure compliance to standard processes (ISO, EHS)
  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    EDUCATION
  • B Tech in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES


  • Very Good communication, report writing and organisational skills
  • IT skills – competent user of Personal Computer, including office packages, SAP, Planning tools as MS Project, PMS...
  • Flexible working hours

    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE 
  • Min 5-6 years of experience in Railway Environment in loco/coaches/trains/metros related product maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and warranty operations
  • Very good command on MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
