What you will be doing:
Performance standards
- Reconciling book and bank transaction data to ensure cash and/or transactions are in agreement with system of record and all breaks are resolved in a timely manner.
- Reconciling highly regulated Funds from different parts of the globe,
- Researching, analyzing and ensuring resolution of exception items through communication with internal and external entities in an accurate and timely manner in order to reduce financial exposure to our clients and company.
- Resolving non-routine problems to minimize financial and operational risk exposure.
- Supporting CAS projects and initiatives, providing feedback and raising concerns.
- Assisting with maintaining up-to-date department procedures.
- Preparing applicable metrics and reports to internal and external clients.
- Assisting with internal and external audit requests.
Problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills
- Escalates any issues identified in the reconciliation,
- Analyze and identify trends if any, from issues/exceptions,
- Mitigates risk by complying with established procedures, controls and processes,
- Innovation and creativity,
- Offers suggestions on changes to further enhance the reconciliation process,
- Assist in various forms of testing.
