The Transition Manager for PFS will oversee the transition of revenue cycle operations to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing project timelines, and implementing best practices to improve revenue cycle processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


  • A role involves overseeing seamless revenue cycle operations transitions, create project timelines and prioritize tasks.


  • Coordinating with various departments, facilitate meetings to align strategies and address concerns.


  • Analyze data, monitor performance metrics, and implement best practices.


  • Lead cross-functional teams, provide guidance and support to ensure project success.


  • Document progress, update stakeholders, and plan for the next steps, ensuring everyone is prepared for upcoming challenges.


Required Knowledge and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree …Business or Accounting major is preferred.


  • 15+ years’ experience in project management, process improvement, training and support, data analysis and reporting.


Good to Have:


  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers written and verbally.


  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.


  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and revenue cycle management software.


  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.


  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office programs, word, excel, power point, project.


  • Experience with medical billing and collections terminology – CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 and NDC coding, HIPAA guidelines and healthcare compliance.


  • Good operating knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point, and Teams.
