At NIQ, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join our Finance Operations Center. As a vital part of our finance team, the Transfer Pricing Manager will ensure the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness in our global transfer pricing operations center, adhering to stringent service level agreements with various internal stakeholders. Directly reporting to the VP, Global Transfer Pricing, this role offers the opportunity to engage with complex transfer pricing compliance processes and support global transfer pricing initiatives and lead a team of 2 individuals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Data Analysis:

o Work with finance organization to obtain and verify financial data


o Manage complex data sets and models


o Prepare and review legal entity profitability analyses to ensure transfer pricing policies are conducted consistent with arm’s length standard


  • Transfer Pricing Documentation:

o Prepare and review financial and economic data for transfer pricing documentation


o Manage and review benchmarking searches prepared by third party advisors


o Facilitate and manage the preparation of contemporaneous global transfer pricing documentation under OECD and local regulations for over 100 entities working with third party advisors through documentation review, timeline management and data collection


  • Team Leadership and Development:

o Build, lead, and mentor a team of 2 transfer pricing professionals, fostering an environment of professional growth and operational excellence.


  • Software Tools:

o Utilize Ryan software, SAP, OneSource and other tools to extract information for transfer pricing purposes


o Drive efficient utilization of software tools, processes and procedures for transfer pricing calculations and documentation


  • Transfer Pricing Audits:

o Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for transfer pricing audit controversy


o Support transfer pricing team on international transfer pricing audit reviews


  • Intercompany Agreements:

o Ensure the proper intercompany agreements are in place to support intercompany pricing arrangements


  • Stakeholder Engagement:

o Collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on service level agreements and transfer pricing related responsibilities.


  • Other Transfer Pricing Support:

o Support ad hoc business and transfer pricing projects, as needed


Qualifications and Skills


  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in transfer pricing, preferably within a multinational corporation or accounting firm, with minimum 3 years in people management roles
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with transfer pricing software and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong understanding of OECD TP Guidelines
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing complex transfer pricing issues and compliance strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high standard of written and spoken English, able to effectively manage relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.
