As a Transaction Processing Supervisor within the Rates Reg Middle Office team, you will work in a dynamic operating environment, reviewing changing regulations to ensure JPM is compliant and has the proper controls in place, while being responsible for monitoring these controls and ensuring quick resolution to any issues, in close partnership with the Rates Business, Business Management, Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams.


Job responsibilities: 


  • Understand regulatory requirements and reporting, which is desirable for the role.
  • Run end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of key technology deliveries, which is considered a plus.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in partnering with Technology to implement change and drive the operations agenda.
  • Possess a good understanding of OTC derivative instruments and market dynamics, preferably including Rates as an asset class.
  • Comprehend transaction lifecycles, systems, and controls, as well as the functions responsible for executing those controls.
  • Balance workload effectively on a day-to-day basis to ensure smooth operations.
  • Organize tasks and maintain a delivery-focused approach with keen attention to detail.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 


  • Learn quickly and play a key role in executing processes effectively.
  • Bring over 3 years of experience in trade support functions, including booking trades, trade verification, and reconciliations.
  • Demonstrate numerical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Initiate tasks independently and work efficiently under limited supervision.
  • Manage time effectively and multitask, working well under pressure.
  • Build strong relationships and interact with counterparts at all levels.
  • Maintain a proactive mindset to anticipate and address challenges.
  • Utilize good Excel and PowerPoint skills for data analysis and presentations.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or higher.
