Wilhelmsen Ship Management is a third-party ship manager providing various services across the globe. With a huge strength of Employee and Seafarers, we own and operate the world’s largest Maritime Network in more than 70 countries.  International Maritime Training Centre a division of Wilhelmsen Ship Management (I) Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Training Superintendent - Nautical for it’s Maritime Training Centre.


The position is required to contribute to the development and conduct of training and related activities in accordance with International Maritime Training Centre's mission statement and Policy. Reports to the Course Manager / the Head of Department, IMTC. Liaising with Head of Administration, Officer - IT/Marketing/MR_QMS at International Maritime Training Centre, Training Manager, WMS Crewing, Finance, Admin, IT, HR Head -Wilhelmsen Ship Management , Heads of Manning Centre's, Crewing Managers, Ship Management, Port Services and Logistics.


Enlisted below are the formal authorities and responsibilities:


Formal Authorities :


  • To conduct training sessions in various training activities as per guidelines. 
  • To conduct assessment of participants of various training programs as per guidelines. 
  • To source training material, equipment etc., as may be required for the development of training services, in consultation with Course Manager and Head of Department. 

Main Responsibilities :


  • Ensure that each session or training activity is conducted as per the Course Guidelines Manual or the established procedures / government guidelines etc. 
  • Maintain a high quality of delivery for all training and related activities. 
  • Carry out assessment of participants of various training programs as required. 
  • Participate in the Course Academic Groups for various courses, as member of the Course Academic Groups. 
  • Participate in Course Design and Development Groups for development of new training programs
  • Ensure that the academic content of his sessions are relevant to the training objectives, and revised to conform with the latest developments / regulations etc. 
  • Management and upkeep of training material / equipment, etc., as may be put under his charge, and security of academic / intellectual property. 
  • Be familiar with IMTC's Quality Assurance System and ensure that the same is followed in all areas of his involvement. 
  • Maintain Customer focus at all times while performing his duties, and ensure that the activities are customer-oriented. 
  • Undertake responsibilities for various activities as may be directed by the Course Managers and / or Heads of Department. 
  • Liaise with E-Learning team for content development as per instructions of Head of Department / General Manager - International Maritime Training Centre

Process Involvement :


  • Development and delivery of training and related services 
  • Procurement of training equipment / material 
  • Marketing and sales - Customer development 
  • Maintenance of Quality Assurance systems 

Qualifications:


  • Master F.G with 5 years sailing experience. 
  • DCE in Oil, Chemical or Gas (Preferable)
  • Completion of Course in ‘Training For Trainers & Assessors’ (Preferable) 
  • Completion of relevant courses in specialized subjects. (Preferable)
