Job Description

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a program we offer our sellers to outsource their order fulfillment to Amazon. The FBA Learning and Development (L&D) team empowers and enables our employees who support this program. We execute our learning and development strategy for new hires and existing associates, including leadership. We ensure our employees have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellence daily.
We are seeking a Training Specialist with adult education and training experience and demonstrated ability to deliver quality learning experiences. You can effectively prioritize competing projects, making trade-offs between depth and delivery as needed. You have experience working with clients or internal partners to move projects forward and remove roadblocks while maintaining a high level of professional communication. You have an iterative mindset and bring new ideas to the table to improve content quality and internal workflows.
Key job responsibilities
• Provide associates with learning experiences that will enable them to make faster decisions with zero defects
• Identify learning needs mapped to business outcomes by partnering with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), training surveys, performance trends, feedback and other key stakeholders
• May gather, develop, and write content based on process updates, interviews with stakeholders and SMEs
• Revise course content based on metrics and feedback regarding the efficacy of the content
• Deliver straightforward training solutions across multiple mediums, adapting content to meet the unique needs of individuals and groups
• Present engaging training material that facilitates effective learning progression
• Influence and manage relationships with associates, trainers, team managers, customers, and stakeholders
• Negotiate the appropriate solution modalities to be utilized in training initiatives
• Identify and mitigate minimal roadblocks, escalating risks as necessary
• Provide input for success metrics and contribute to the evaluation of training effectiveness
• Optimize existing training processes, including training agendas, curricula, assessments, and SOPs.
• Provide support for tool launches and other changes via testing, hosting office hours, or internal communications
• Identify knowledge gaps, training opportunities, provide constructive feedback to associates and identify improvement initiatives
A day in the life
A typical day involves deliver engaging training sessions to the associates, providing post training support, prepare training related reports, attend review meetings, collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs aligned with outcomes. Manage relationships with trainers and stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and optimize training processes while promoting continuous improvement and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification
• 2-4 years relevant experience in a Learning & Development role
• Demonstrated ability to communicate information clearly and facilitate learning solutions for diverse audiences
• Experience working with a globally distributed team to achieve shared objectives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders
• Proven ability to adapt training methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Experience in program or project management
• Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
• Experience in e-commerce
• Experience in Business Communications or Leadership training
