Job Description

Mission Statement: Responsible to plan, execute and continuously optimize the business operations by effectively managing daily customs operations   Drive continuous improvement of T&L processes, tools, and services. Ensure that the KPI targets are meet and improved. Supports Business Function and/or Business Excellence Centers to ensure goods are shipped. Develop, maintain, and improve transport / logistics processes to optimize inbound and / or outbound transportation events to external customers and internal factories. Your Responsibilities: Check and report arrival / dispatch status of all consignments. Co-ordinate both Internally and Externally for Customs declarations inbound and outbound. Co-ordination with Customs Broker (CHA) for filing of Bill of entries/Shipping bills and other customs clearance documents. Co-ordination with Freight forwarders (FF) / Transporters for documents required for movement of goods. Respond to any Clarifications / documents requirement of CHA's and FF's. Co-ordinate with all internal & external stake owners on regular basis for improvement in process. Prepare Management Information Sheet (MIS) and Daily Status reports (DSR) for inbound and outbound movement of cargo both domestic and international. Analyze Cargo movement data both domestic and international and share required reports to management. Prepare demurrages and detention report both inbound and outbound cargo. Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders for Customs duty payment. Co-ordination with Business teams and consultant for Compulsory compliance requirements. Cost optimization and reporting cost savings. Verification of supplier bills, update as per format and send to finance. Co-ordination with Business and transporters for on time placement of Vehicles. To track and report TAT's for BoE filing and clearing. To track, Measure and report supplier KPI. Your Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce. Minimum 7-8 years of experience in customs & Trade operations in Transport, Trade, Logistics. Hands on experience on various Microsoft tools & SAP Applications. Strong Planning & customs Skills. Good influencing skills and stakeholder management. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Experience in customs, foreign trade, logistics, finance, planning or procurement. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills with the capability to transform data into actionable plans. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. Flexibility to travel 10%.
