Job Summary


As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within our Derivative Operations team at J.P. Morgan, you will leverage your expertise to manage OTC Derivative Settlements, build strong client relationships, and promote process improvements. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where your contributions make a global impact. This role involves leading OTC Derivative Settlements, managing matrix reporting relationships, and building strong relationships with clients and internal teams. It requires meeting KPIs, implementing projects, and identifying process improvements.


Job Responsibilities


  • Consistently meet KPIs and deadlines.
  • Communicate work status effectively.
  • Respond to queries and escalate when needed.
  • Listen to client needs and prioritize effectively.
  • Settle payments for counterparties.
  • Take initiative and persist despite obstacles.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives.
  • Identify process improvements.
  • Confirm derivative trade details verbally.
  • Utilize technical infrastructure effectively.
  • Develop relationships outside the function.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills


  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree with minimum 4 years of experience.
  • Demonstrate strong partnership abilities.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Handle high complexity in product coverage.
  • Shift gears with relative ease.
  • Adapt workload to changing priorities.
  • Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills


  • Possess experience with derivative products.
  • Exhibit ISDA knowledge.
  • Demonstrate advanced Excel skills.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Show attention to detail.
  • Work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willing to work all shifts.
