Could you be the full-time Traction System Engineer (TrSE) in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your seasoned expertise in the dynamic field of traction system engineering. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated teammates.
You'll define the architecture and functionalities of traction drives or auxiliary converter systems, and technically lead engineering studies to achieve performance that meets our high standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project technical core teams, PrEM, Sub-System Managers, and Train System Engineers), optimize cost allocations among various traction or auxiliary functions, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of ensuring the consistency and compatibility of all traction or auxiliary functions specifications, but also participate in commissioning and manage fine-tuning alongside the validation manager.
We’ll look to you for:
Collecting and allocating external and internal requirements to technical teams
Defining product architecture and functionalities
Optimizing transverse requirements with a cost-effective approach
Verifying specifications and participating in design reviews
Leading system design reviews and building Product Breakdown Structures
Defining and participating in the validation strategy and commissioning
Identifying technical risks and supporting risk mitigation planning

Master’s degree in electrical engineering
Fluency in English
At least 5 years of experience in traction and/or auxiliary converter engineering
