Job Title - Traction Sub-System Domain Leader (TrSDL)


Purpose of the Job


To manage a team (EDU, Elementary Design Unit) of engineers and technicians within Traction Engineering department

Performance Measurement/KPI’s


  • Respect of QCD commitments
  • Ensure all Design reviews On Time
  • Ensure application of Alstom Guidelines
  • Capacity in line with Workload
  • People Management/Development

Responsibilities


  • To ensure the respect of QCD commitments for the EDU Work package
  • To ensure the capitalization of the return of experience by EDU members
  • To ensure application of Alstom guidelines & Contribute in the improvement of theses guidelines
  • To define and monitor the KPIs of the EDU
  • To manage the workload of the EDU
  • To ensure the capacity is in line with the workload
  • To Manage sub-contractors
  • To staff (hiring) according to project/tenders/R&D needs
  • To Perform people Review and development as achieve target as per organisation needs
  • To define and Review the objectives of all EDU members
  • To promote multicompetency and manage succession/back up plan for critical resources
  • To assess the competency of the team and define development plan accordingly
  • To contribute to the continuous improvement of way of working with other sites/stakeholders

Knowledge & Experience:


  • Bachelor/Master degree in electrical engineering / Power electronics
  • Fluent in English
  • An experience of at least 10 - 15 years in Engineering including at least 3 years of people Management 
  • Experience in Power Electronics and Drives in an international environment (Railways) is a must
