Who we are looking for: State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) Vendor Management (VM) function is seeking to hire a senior Third Party Risk Management/Market Data/Index Data sourcing specialist to support the newly established Bangalore CoE Team. The successful candidate will be responsible to support the team on TPRM activities, index licensing process coverage and help manage various SSGA market data engagements. This candidate will also partner with various SSGA business units, State Street Procurement/TPRM stakeholders and index/market data vendors.
What you will be responsible for:
Third Party Risk Management
For SSGA high-risk and critical vendors, proactively partner with relevant SSGA business units to manage third-party relationships and risks (e.g., business impact, regulatory risk, operational dependency and BCP sufficiency)
Collaborate with business and other stakeholders and manage the escalation and resolution of key vendor issues, while liaising internally for the issue tracking and remediation update communication
Partner with TPRM and Procurement corporate functions to facilitate SSGA business’ vendor selection, assess vendor risk and products/services offering, manage vendor contract negotiation and execution, and guide vendor onboarding and subsequent risk management cycle
Work with State Street TPRM to continuously monitor vendor risks and oversee enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and vendor monitoring
Works with SSGA business liaison and TPRM/Procurement to review, prioritize and expedite SSGA procurement engagements, and publish regular management reporting on status and issues
Develop deep knowledge of State Street third party management process and identify corporate center-led vendor onboarding, contracting and engagement process enhancement to increase operational efficiency and reduce SSGA business overhead across the entire vendor cycle
Index & Market Data Support
Source new equity and fixed income indices, execute license agreements, and facilitate State Street Alpha Services teams to set up the index in the systems
Perform index data sourcing analytics, benchmarking, and gap identification, as well as working on process simplification and automation to improve the overall index set up workflow
Develop, implement and evolve index vendor oversight program to perform ongoing vendor scorecard review, represent SSGA business interest resolving vendor issues, and hold vendors accountable for improving its service and data delivery
Participate in or lead high impact and time-sensitive index/market data licensing projects to evaluate vendor offering, procure license and facilitate new benchmark set-up and take in vendor market data
Serve as the index sourcing SME and the escalation contact to address business inquiries
Provide consultative advice on market data vendor offering and use cases, advocate for vendor contract data compliance with business stakeholders
Proactively drive market data vendor cost optimization by working with SSGA business/ Procurement/ Market Data Account Mgmt. Teams monitoring and analyzing market data inventory and spend, eliminating unnecessary demand, vetting and utilizing lower cost alternatives Work with SSGA business stakeholders, support and understand their market data needs, work with SSGA VM team and Procurement colleagues through a streamlined sourcing process, InformaƟon ClassificaƟon: General minimizing time to address market data requests, and help ensure contract and licensing obligations meet the business needs.

Education & Preferred Qualiϐications:
o Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of progressive experience with Third Party Risk Management / Vendor Risk Assessment / Index and Market Data in Financial Services Industry
o Experience of managing productive teams and stakeholders in global matrix environment
o Investment industry, ϐinancial markets and market data knowledge
o Proϐiciency in Microsoft Ofϐice suite, advance levels of Excel and other data/analytical/visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
Ability to independently manage projects and solution oriented mindset
o Personal resilience to work within an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment o Highly organized, responsive, great communication skills and ability to work under high pressure deadlines
