TGT English teacher

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified English teacher for the position of TGT English to teach students at the secondary level (classes 6 to 10). The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop a love for literature and language.

1. Teaching and Instruction:
   

   
   
   • Prepare and deliver lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
     
   • Ensure students are engaged in interactive, creative, and thought-provoking lessons.
     
   • Teach English literature, language, and grammar, providing support for students at varying levels of proficiency.
     
   • Design and implement assessments and evaluations to monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
     
   • Develop customized lesson plans to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
     

2. Classroom Management:
   

   
   
   • Maintain a disciplined, positive, and respectful classroom environment.
     
   • Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment.
     
   • Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
     

3. Student Development:
   

   
   
   • Encourage critical thinking, communication, and writing skills.
     
   • Organize and lead co-curricular activities like debates, elocution competitions, and literary clubs.
     
   • Provide guidance to students in their academic and personal development.
     
   • Address individual student learning needs and provide extra support where necessary.
     

4. Administrative Responsibilities:
   

   
   
   • Record and maintain accurate student attendance and academic performance records.
     
   • Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
     
   • Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a well-rounded educational experience for students.
     
   • Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
     

5. Curriculum and Resource Development:
   

   
   
   • Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, tools, and technologies.
     
   • Create and develop teaching resources such as worksheets, quizzes, and lesson plans.
     
   • Ensure lessons align with CBSE guidelines and learning objectives.
     

• Education: Bachelor's degree in English (B.A. or B.Ed.) or M.A. in English
  
• Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
  
• Certifications: TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) or equivalent certification (preferred).
