We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Level Two Test Engineer to join our dynamic testing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in software testing, with expertise in both manual and automation testing. Additionally, proficiency in Robotics Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UI Path is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products while adhering to Scrum methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
2. Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation testing tools such as Selenium with java or with any other respective programming language and UI Path.
3. Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies and plans.
4. Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as part of the Scrum team.
5. Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
6. Utilize RPA tools such as UI Path to automate repetitive manual tasks and streamline business processes.
7. Document test cases, test plans, and test results to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability.
8. Analyze test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve software defects.
9. Continuously evaluate and enhance testing processes and methodologies to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
10. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing, automation, and RPA.

To succeed in this position, you must: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in software testing, with expertise in manual and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium with java or with any other respective programming language, Appium, or similar.
• Proficiency in Robotics Process Automation (RPA) tools, particularly UI Path.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This is a full-time position based out of Chennai.
