The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for hunting new business opportunities from both existing and new customers within a defined sales territory. This role involves managing a pipeline of sales opportunities to achieve sales targets. The position requires engaging with clients across various industries and geographies, utilizing tools and resources provided by Autodesk to deliver market-leading design software solutions. Collaboration with field-based Partner Managers, License Compliance teams, and channel partners is essential.

Responsibilities

• Customer and Territory Management:

  
  
  • Report to the Territory Sales Hub Manager and prioritize high-opportunity accounts within the assigned territory
  • Develop value-driven messaging and account plans to address customer needs and timelines

• Business Development:

  
  
  • Generate and close new business opportunities to maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers, understanding their needs, budgets, and project timelines
  • Conduct cold calls, prospecting, and outreach to achieve sales targets

• Customer Engagement:

  
  
  • Act as a trusted advisor, articulating how Autodesk solutions align with customer goals and accelerate their business success
  • Collaborate with channel partners and field-based Territory Sales Executives to enhance territory performance and customer satisfaction
  • Build and lead cross-functional teams for opportunities, including presales, consultants, and service personnel

• Forecasting and Reporting:

  
  
  • Provide accurate billing forecasts and updates to the sales manager
  • Exceed monthly sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Value Creation:

  
  
  • Help customers achieve success and develop reference stories showcasing positive outcomes with Autodesk solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience:

  
  
  • 8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, including selling complex technology solutions in inside sales or field sales
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets, quotas, and KPIs
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent sales cycles and engaging with executive-level stakeholders

• Skills:

  
  
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage challenging situations with positivity and professionalism
  • Proficient in database management and CRM tools
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

• Work Environment:

  
  
  • Hybrid work setup, based in Bangalore
