As a Technology Support II team member in Operate Team which is aligned to Corporate Technology, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Your efforts in troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems support a seamless user experience and a culture of continuous improvement.


Job responsibilities


  • Batch Support for the Global R3 and In-country S4 SAP Instances. Provide Level 2 support to internal business users
  • Prioritize workload, provide timely and accurate resolutions Identify efficiencies and ways to improve processes
  • Perform in-depth research and identify sources of production issues. Perform daily health checks of the application, job schedules and infrastructure supporting the application
  • Effectively perform and document root cause analysis of issues. Work on assignments with minimal direct supervision
  • Build and foster relationships across multiple organizations. Mentor less-experienced resources
  • Provide off hours support as needed for weekend and maintenance activities
  • Develop scripts to automate repeatable manual tasks. Participate in Disaster Recovery events and Major Event Changes
  • Partake in audit support activities, as they pertain to Information Security, for both internal and external audits. Perform audit support tasks as assigned
  • Manage the application risk to ensure the security and resiliency of the application are in compliance with firm and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure infrastructure has adequate capacity and are refreshed on a periodic basis. Maintain system documentation and provide production metrics reporting

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
  • Support Experience in the SAP FI CO modules (SAP ECC) for large Financial clients on R3 and S4
  • Experience in Autosys / Control-M or equivalent scheduling tool
  • Robust understanding of General Ledger and Sub-Ledger concepts like Consolidation, Payment Processing etc., and its associated Accounting.
  • SAP FICO Implementation and configuration experience will be an added bonus
  • Exposure to Oracle Databases and HANA (at a product and conceptual levels) would be a plus.
  • Experience of working in large Global teams with active handovers between regions and matrix reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working Experience with the Unix command line, basic shell scripting and trouble shooting
  • Should be an active learner, who can learn on the job, and be able to perform independently post initial training

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Knowledge of one or more general purpose programming languages or automation scripting
  • Experience in Monitoring & Visualization tools like Splunk, Geneos, AppDynamics, Grafana etc is an added bonus
  • Exposure/Experience to enterprise cloud offerings from AWS/Azure/GCP would be an added bonus
  • Experience in Python/Bash scripting would be an added bonus
