• Delivering stable SAP systems with high uptime for the user base
• Daily monitoring to ensure all house keeping activities are completed and issues identified and solutions applied
• Lead activities to apply patches in a timely manner and upgrade the system as and when needed
• Work with hosting partners to ensure system availability expectations are met
• Suggest best practices and evaluate new tools & applications to enhance system performance which deliver high business value

Your key responsibilities

• Key member of the implementation team which is rolling out SAP S/4 HANA system across multiple countries.
• Provide SME guidance and perform core BASIS activities such as systems/servers’ administration, transports management, Fiori launchpad configurations, web dispatcher/router setup, high-availability and disaster recovery setup, database administration, performance tuning, etc.
• Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
• Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements for new products and services that are taken up in due course
• Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security.
• Collaborate with internal partners to identify relevant standard solutions that would be available for efficient deployment.
• Where required, innovate, architect, design, build, test a customer-specific solution

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Science or an IT-related discipline (or equivalent)
• More than 10 years’ experience (hands-on) in SAP Basis.
• Hands-On knowledge of working on SAP HANA hosted on Cloud is a must and a non-negotiable
• Deep experience of SAP Basis activities and proven experience of working on day to day system management is a must
• Ability to understand the nuances of hosting a SAP S/4 HANA landscape on a CSP and the intricacies of navigating through a highly regulated environment
• Good experience of setting up connectivity to other SAP / Non-SAP systems along with addressing security challenges along the way
• High analytical capabilities and strong (verbal / written) communication skills.
• Should be self-driven and have initiative to identify root cause of issue rather than just provide temporary fixes
• Able to Multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Self-motivated within set competencies in a team and fast paced environments
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Exposure to working with Global Teams
