You will work closely with our digital product owners to prioritise the deliverables from initiation to launch. You will beresponsible for managing cross functional development and engineering teams and drive a culture where the priorities are always to delivery on time and within budget. As part of Minerals Digital 2025 defined strategy and vision, the digital delivery manager will be part of Minerals digital PMO team and will be part of the team in developing new process and tools to support this functionThis is a senior role within the minerals digital team, reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management.This person will be responsible to deliver all the key Minerals Digital initiatives and will be working with our Change Manager, Development and Business enablement teams ensure the implementation and launch of each product are delivered within budget and schedule.Objectives & MeasurementKey Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:Key Responsibilities:Deliver projects, solutions, products, and entire programs in alignment with the Weir Minerals digital strategy and related roadmaps  Working closely with the product owners to define the delivery goals, keep the team on track and ensure aligned priorities Manage and own the scrum process within the defined development resource teams, including user testing, change management and deployment phasesActively participate in the agile delivery community by sharing knowledge, bringing in and documenting best practices  Build and lead development and engineering team resources including internal Weir resources and external suppliersDriving and maintaining high team morale between the product owners and development and engineering teamsMonitor and manage the operational budget for the program or project and advise product owners and digital management when requiredProvide monthly progress development updates to product owners and digital management Maintaining a continuous improvement culture within the defined resource squadDriving deployment planning, execution, and handover of deliverables to the digital operations teamInterface with business unit product managers, engineering, sales, manufacturing, logistics and servicesEnsure evolution and continuous improvement of standards, guidelines and guardrails and ensuring that solutions and platforms are compliant Identifying and building strong Weir stakeholder relationships at strategic and operational levels. Key Accountabilities: Deliver epics and user stories defined by digital product owners based on agreed product release plans and lifecycle Empower development teams to take accountability for their delivery, risks and issues utilizing lean and agile methodsEnsure delivery of products of high standards and satisfy customers' needsEstablish and ensure adoption of minerals digital product development best practice and toolsJob Knowledge / Education and QualificationsEducation Bachelors or Masters’ degree in engineering, computer science, IS&T (Information Systems & Technology), business essential or equivalent industry experience gained in a similar role and at a similar level. The successful candidate has certificates within agile methodologies, Prince 2 etc. ExperienceThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in program & delivery management or a comparable role with extensive experience in both waterfall and agile delivery of both enterprise level software and digital in similar industryIdeally, this leader will have a track record in the digital transformation of legacy processes, products, and services, as well as in developing new solutions and accompanying business models. S/He enjoys a reputation for developing meaningful partner and stakeholder relationships and is highly collaborative with a proven ability to work in highly matrixed cross-functional teams. Practical experience from product and/or software development end to end in large scale development or enterprise systems implementation (e.g., engineer, testing and solution architect) is essential.Practical experience in change management and adoption of products/technologies is highly recommended.Experience in any IoT platform in any sector is recommended, IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things) is highly recommended.Experience in mechanical engineering manufacturing heavy industry is highly recommended.Experience in program management of >500K USD (US Dollar) budget will be highly regarded.Communication Skills: Given the matrix nature of the role, this leader must bring exceptional influencing skills and the ability to navigate across a global company. To meet tight delivery deadlines, s/he must foster strong relationships with product owners and development teams and be viewed as a strategic product execution partner and trusted advisor. Recognizing and developing talent is key, as this leader will continually be forming and leading joint business / technology teams to deliver digital transformation projectsComputer Skills: Has a passion for technology and keeping up to date on technology trends. A highly capable technology user of the standard business systems and packages.
