What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?
The candidate is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the systems environment through basic monitoring of the global infrastructure, SAP Basis & Systems (AIX/Linux, windows). In addition they are responsible for the resolution and/or escalation of the production incidents
Who are you…
You are a functional expert:
Basic skills of SAP basis which includes HANA
Basic skills of AIX, LINUX, and windows based operating systems
Basic skills of Networking technologies Basic skills of supervising tools
Analytical and responsible for resolving the issue skills are desired
Should have experience and acute problem solving and resolving the issue skills
He / she should be an extraordinary teammate player being able to work with multi functional teams.
Hands-on issue take on experience with DB2/ HANA / Networking / System Administration
Well verse with google sheet to create the reports
Be a self starter and possess a self-learning demeanor
You connect the dots -
You connect the dots with your expertise and insights as identifying the cause will be instrumental in driving the success of our Colgate infrastructure.
You will work closely with next level teams and other functions to resolve the issues on timely manner
You are an innovator :
Independently research functionality, automation and solutions for performing day to day manual tasks and thereby reducing manual errors
What you’ll need…(Required)
2+ years’ experience in Data Center operations or IT related fields.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to coordinate with different collaborators and team members worldwide.
Willingness to work in shifts including morning, weekends and holidays
Experience working on Agile/SCRUM development teams
What you’ll need…(Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineer with 3+ years of experience
Knowledge of tools like Splunk, Stonebranch is an advantage
Any Electronics/Telecom/Computer Science/Information Technology Graduate (IT, Operations)
