Position Summary

Position Summary and Location
The Technologist II, Infrastructure Applications position is responsible for managing and maintaining the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM\MECM) and Microsoft Intune environments. This role involves configuring, deploying and supporting device management, software distribution, patch management and security updates in a co-managed environment.







Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
SCCM Administration:
·Analyze and troubleshoot performance/stability issues of the SCCM/MECM infrastructure
·Create and manage operating system images for different hardware models supported by the company using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
·Build and maintain deployments/collections/applications/packages/task sequences
·Perform upgrades to SCCM/MECM infrastructure
·Deploy Microsoft and 3rd party patches to client machines throughout the enterprise
·Troubleshoot image deployment failures/issues, patch deployment and compliance, software deployment issues either to a single user or for a mass deployment.
·Create custom scripts to query workstation attributes and software inventory
·Create and/or modify custom collections within SCCM/MECM
·Serve as a project lead of assigned IT projects
·Develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiencies for the company
·Identify and Automate repetitive processes
·Create support documentation and assist with training for company-wide software upgrades
·Provide 3rd level support for issues related to imaging/application deployments

Microsoft Intune Administration:
·Automate device provisioning and application deployment using Azure AD, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Intune policies
·Create, configure, and deploy applications using Microsoft Intune
·Create and enforce compliance policies and device configurations
·Provide support for issues related to device management, application deployment or compliance policies on Windows devices
·Create and maintain support documentation
Supervisory Responsibilities
·This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Qualifications
·Bachelor degree  
·Minimum five (5) years' experience in the below or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
oCreating and maintaining SCCM software libraries such as applications, packages, driver packs and Windows updates  
oCreating and capturing custom images using SCCM tools such as task sequences and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 
oMicrosoft Intune device and application management
·Expert knowledge of the System Center Configuration Manager Console and perform moderate to complex tasks within the console 
·Intermediate skills using Active Directory in a distributed global environment, intermediate scripting ability using batch files, Autoit, Vbscript, Powershell., and basic knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
