Must-Have Requirements
1. Perform Pressure Vessel Design inline with ASME Sec VIII Div 1 and Div 2
2. Proficient in performing Heat Exchanger Design as per TEMA and ASME Sec VIII Div 1 Vessels
3. Review Pressure Vessel Fabrication Drawings inline with Code and Client Specifications
4. Proficient in reviewing Finite Element Analysis report of component design of pressure vessel parts
5. Expert in using PV Elite or Compress Software
6. Ability to address technical enquiries and comments from clients and fabricators
7. Develop mechanical designs for mechanical components to meet specific project requirements and industry standards using manual calculations.
8. Create detailed drawings, schematics, and documentation to support designs.
Good To Have Requirements:
1. Awareness on Pipe Stress Analysis basics and exposure to Caesar II Software.
2. Awareness of rotating equipment like Pumps / Compressors.
3. Awareness on API Tanks and Atmospheric Tank design
4. General Knowledge of Design, 3D modelling and drafting software
Applied Knowledge
1. The Individual has a proven track record of successfully managing medium and high-risk projects/tasks. They possess the technical expertise necessary to provide guidance to supporting engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
2. In the realm of design alternatives, the individual possesses a remarkable ability to assess the merits and drawbacks of each option, ultimately arriving at the most optimized solution. Their expertise in this area is indispensable, guaranteeing that all design decisions are methodically scrutinized prior to any
final selection.
3. The Individual demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various functions and processes and possess the ability to effectively ensure adherence to all project and contract requirements.
Minimum 8 years’ Experience of mechanical design in Oil & Gas or related Industry.
Engineering Degree – Mechanical / Experience in Mechanical Engineering
