Technical Lead - Electrical

Must-Have Requirements

1. Knowledge of simple electrical datasheets (Motor, MCC, PMCC, VFD, APFC Panels, cable, cable tray etc).

   
   

2. Knowledge of electrical load list, Single line diagram, Power and control Cable schedule, Cable tray and Earthing Layout and respective BOM’s.

   
   

3. Knowledge of all types of Electrical Equipment's datasheets.

   
   

4. Knowledge of  inspection reports for Motor, MCC, VFD, PMCC and APFC Panel, cable, and Cable tray.

   
   

5. Guide 3D Modeller on electrical Equipments and cable tray installations on 3D model development.

   
   

6. Coordinate with inter-discipline for 3D modelling and layout preparation.

   
   

7. Preparing interface drawing between MCC/VFD to PLC system-hardwired or soft like Modbus TCP/IP or Ethernet Profibus, etc.

   
   

8. Preparing Technical Bid Evaluation for Electrical items offers in line with codes & client specification codes, client specifications and also project expectations (Cost/Time).

   
   

9. Post order vendor document review and approval for Electrical items offers in line with codes, client specifications and also project expectations.

   
   

10. Estimate accurate budget hours for the completion of assigned tasks.

    
    

11. Knowledge of lightning protection calculations and layout.

    
    

12. Knowledge of lighting calculations using lux level software’s.

    
    

13. Experience in selection of Diesel Generator and Transformers.

    
    

Good To Have Requirements (That Supports future Career progression in the Role)

•  Select electrical equipment based on process conditions and specification restrictions in      line with international standards (ATEX, UL508A, CSA22.2, NEMA, NEC, IEC 61508/61511 etc).
• Ability to estimate engineering man hours based on deliverable list.
• Expert in addressing site queries/others disciplines issues/provide solution independently,
• Knowledge in area classification, HAZOP and SIL Study.

Engineering Degree – Electrical Engineering

Minimum 8 years’ Experience of Electrical design in Water, Wastewater, Power, Oil & Gas or related Industry.
