Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent required.
Extensive experience in mainframe software development, with hands-on expertise in languages like COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, or JCL.
Strong understanding of mainframe architectures, operating systems (e.g., z/OS), and tools (e.g., TSO/ISPF, SDSF, File-AID, CICS, DB2).
Proficient in software development methodologies (waterfall, agile) and version control systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to team members, stakeholders, and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
