WHAT YOU’LL DO


The Technical Engineer for Emerging Tech will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects involving next-generation technologies. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. This role demands a strong blend of technical acumen and project management expertise to guide complex initiatives from inception through to successful completion.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead end-to-end project management for initiatives involving emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT, cloud, etc.), ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, while ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership, to ensure smooth communication and execution.
  • Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing potential obstacles and ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Lead the technical execution of projects, ensuring that solutions meet the necessary standards for scalability, security, and performance.
  • Monitor and track project performance using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project), providing regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of agile methodologies and best practices for project execution, continuously improving project delivery processes.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance, security, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Champion innovation and emerging trends, keeping up to date with industry advancements and recommending new tools or approaches that enhance project success

WHO YOU ARE​


We are looking for people with…


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on emerging technologies.
  •  Solid understanding of technologies such as AI, machine learning, cloud computing, blockchain, IoT, and big data.
  •  Strong experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and other project management frameworks.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, MS Project).
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business value.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, working effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and software development life cycles.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • A passion for emerging technologies and their potential to revolutionize industries.
