The Technical Consultant (TC) is responsible for following defined procedures and methodologies to install, configure, test, maintain and support hardware and software solutions, including problem identification, system architecture definition / specification, implementation, basic integration, validation and verification testing, customer education, solution activation, and system restoration
The Technical Consultant works with a variety of customers across the globe to conceptualize, design and optimize Philips solutions with the aiming for customer success. Designing for these unique environments requires strong, proven design talent and a deep knowledge of technical and customer best practices in a variety of environments.
Your role:
Primary responsibility of this technical engineer will be to provide implementation services by building, Installing, and configuring the Philips PACS virtual servers per Philips approved processes and procedures
Work with hardware order team to order and install any new hardware necessary to support a deployment.
Perform and execute all general duties and responsibilities, which the VCE is responsible for such as equipment checks before shipping to customer sites, virtual compute environment administration and support, system builds as well as participating in the execution of various related Change Requests, and Hardware Assessments.
Able to deploy advanced Philips solutions on physical and virtual HA VMware environments.
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Philips Project Managers and Technical Consultants to addressing any pre and post deployment issues.
Supports local and global service teams and assists onsite engineers who are facing problems or difficulties with installations in order to achieve a perfect working solution.
Participate in Change Management functions related to creating, reviewing and approving Philips Change Request documents to ensure activities are performed following Philips standards.
Perform post-change review sessions; analyze pre, post, and future changes for projects/improvements/compliance.
Openly collaboration with team members, other cross-functional teams, and/or customers to complete assigned projects.
Able to report project progress various reporting tools like Excel or PowerPoint to management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
Knowledge of ITIL framework and its application in service management.
Experience in managing and supporting virtualized environments such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Experience in administering and troubleshooting Windows Server, and network technologies.
Familiarity with Radiological workflow, including DICOM, HL7 etc., is an advantage but not mandatory.
Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and be accountable for deliverables.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Awareness of security protocols, best practices, and compliance regulations.
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, batch, and Python for automation and process improvement.
Preference & Recommended: Minimum 10 years of related experience with 5 years prior experience in a remote support customer facing role.
Competent in Network diagnosis/system connectivity/Remote service essential
Experience with SQL queries, troubleshooting skills on Microsoft Server, VMWare, Hyper-V, and Microsoft SQL, as well as HP & Dell storage systems.
Prior experience with medical device support preferred.
