Title: Staff Solutions Architect


Job Role: Technical Architect - Self-Service Digital Experience Solutions (Web, Mobile, API, Personalization)


We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and continuous evolution of our Self-Service Digital Experience Solutions. This role will focus on architecting highly scalable web, mobile, and API platforms that leverage cookies and personalization techniques to deliver targeted, seamless, and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in architecting personalized digital solutions, integrating data-driven personalization strategies, and managing cookies and tracking technologies in line with privacy standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Architect Digital Solutions with Personalization
    • Lead the design and architecture of personalized self-service digital platforms, including web, mobile, and API solutions, to deliver tailored experiences for users based on their behavior and preferences.
    • Architect and implement systems that utilize cookies and user tracking to gather insights and enhance personalization, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the technical vision for personalization strategies and integrate them seamlessly into the digital experience.
  2. Platform Development & Evolution
    • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of web, mobile, and API platforms, ensuring they support personalization features such as content recommendations, dynamic interfaces, and user-specific workflows.
    • Ensure personalization is integrated across all touchpoints—websites, mobile apps, and APIs—leveraging cookies and session data to enhance user journeys.
    • Ensure compliance with cookie consent management tools and user privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA, for tracking user data across web and mobile platforms.
    • Drive the adoption of technologies such as AI and machine learning to further refine and automate personalized experiences.
  3. API Design, Integration, and Personalization
    • Design and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL solutions to integrate personalization data, allowing for dynamic content delivery and custom user experiences.
    • Implement API architectures that can handle complex, user-specific requests, optimizing performance and user engagement through personalized content feeds.
    • Develop strategies for personalization data storage and management, ensuring that all personalized experiences are driven by clean, secure, and well-structured data.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, UI/UX design, and business stakeholders to align technical strategies with the company’s business goals and customer-centric vision.
  5. Compliance & Security: Champion data protection and privacy, ensuring all solutions are fully compliant with regulations like GDPR and CCPA, while implementing the highest security standards to safeguard customer data and platform integrity.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a technical architecture or leadership role.
    • Proven experience in architecting personalized digital solutions, including the use of cookies, session tracking, and user behavior data to deliver tailored experiences.
    • Strong experience with web, mobile, and API platforms—designing and developing highly scalable, performance-driven systems.
    • Deep understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and experience implementing compliant solutions for cookies and data tracking.
  • Skills and Expertise:
    • Expertise in personalization frameworks and technologies, such as AI, machine learning, and recommendation systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of cookies management, cookie consent tools, and session-based tracking.
    • Strong experience with API design (RESTful, GraphQL) and integration strategies for dynamic content delivery.
    • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architectures for scaling personalization.
    • Proficiency in web development frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and mobile frameworks (React Native, Flutter).
    • Knowledge of database design for storing user-specific data and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
    • Cloud Proficiency: Proficient in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with experience in cloud-based omnichannel platforms and services.
    • Microservices & API Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with microservices architecture, API integration, and designing enterprise-level solutions.
    • Full Stack Knowledge: Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, including frameworks, web services, databases (e.g., REST, SOAP, SQL, NoSQL).
    • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving ability, adept at navigating complex challenges and delivering solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with data-driven personalization tools, such as Optimizely, Adobe Target, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX/UI) principles for crafting seamless, personalized journeys.
  • Familiarity with server-side tracking and cookie-less tracking technologies.
  • Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect).
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI-based personalization algorithms.
