Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields from reputed institutions
Experience: 7+ years of experience in software development, with significant exposure to system architecture and leadership roles
Domain: Fintech, eCommerce, High-Scale Web Development
Languages: Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python, with strong architecture experience
Key Responsibilities
System Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, distributed, and scalable systems. Define and drive the architecture vision for complex, high-performance applications, leveraging microservices, cloud computing, and modern development practices.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Set coding standards, review designs, and ensure that best practices in software engineering and architecture are followed.
Solution Design & Evaluation: Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies, tools, and platforms to meet long-term business and technical goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Cloud Infrastructure: Own the cloud infrastructure strategy, particularly AWS, to build highly available, scalable, and secure solutions.
Microservices & Scalability: Design and guide the implementation of microservice architectures that can scale to meet high-volume demands in the fintech/e-commerce domain.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet the needs of the business and deliver on product goals.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Champion innovation and help evolve the organization's technical practices.
Stakeholder Communication: Lead presentations and discussions with senior leadership, explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Key Requirements & Technical Expertise
Experience: 7+ years in software development, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or architecture role.
Expertise in cloud architecture (preferably AWS) and building highly scalable systems
Deep understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems
Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
Strong understanding of software design principles, including SOLID, design patterns, and system integration
Extensive experience in one or more programming languages (Java, Go, Python) with a strong emphasis on architectural design and systems thinking
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor and lead engineering teams, set direction, and influence technical decision-making. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and guide teams toward achieving goals.
Problem-Solving & Innovation: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex, undefined problems and find innovative solutions.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
