Job Description


Role: Technical Architect


  • Location: Pune/Gurgaon/Bengaluru
  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields from reputed institutions
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in software development, with significant exposure to system architecture and leadership roles
  • Domain: Fintech, eCommerce, High-Scale Web Development
  • Languages: Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python, with strong architecture experience

Key Responsibilities


  • System Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, distributed, and scalable systems. Define and drive the architecture vision for complex, high-performance applications, leveraging microservices, cloud computing, and modern development practices.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Set coding standards, review designs, and ensure that best practices in software engineering and architecture are followed.
  • Solution Design & Evaluation: Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies, tools, and platforms to meet long-term business and technical goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Own the cloud infrastructure strategy, particularly AWS, to build highly available, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Microservices & Scalability: Design and guide the implementation of microservice architectures that can scale to meet high-volume demands in the fintech/e-commerce domain.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet the needs of the business and deliver on product goals.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Champion innovation and help evolve the organization's technical practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Lead presentations and discussions with senior leadership, explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

Key Requirements & Technical Expertise


  • Experience: 7+ years in software development, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or architecture role.
  • Expertise in cloud architecture (preferably AWS) and building highly scalable systems
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems
  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, including SOLID, design patterns, and system integration
  • Extensive experience in one or more programming languages (Java, Go, Python) with a strong emphasis on architectural design and systems thinking
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor and lead engineering teams, set direction, and influence technical decision-making. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and guide teams toward achieving goals.
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex, undefined problems and find innovative solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
