You will play a vital role in growing Snowflake business by providing thought leadership, exploring latest technologies and industry trends, and developing IPs
Role and Responsibilities
- Create data strategy, roadmap and data architecture based for customers
- Design and develop Ips / Accelerators using Snowflake and other cloud services.
- Conduct training and certification drive
- Conduct customer workshops.
- Work on proactive proposals and RFP responses.
- Explore new technologies/features and build PoCs
- Write whitepapers, case studies and technology blogs
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience of designing and developing data warehouse / big data applications
- Experience of solution architecture using Snowflake
- Experience of working with Snowflake data platform, it’s utilities (SnowSQL, SnowPipe etc.) and its features (time travel, support to semi-structured data etc.)
- Experience of migrating on premise data warehouse to Snowflake cloud data platform
- Experience of working with any cloud platform, AWS | Azure | GCP
- Experience of developing accelerators (using Python, Java etc.) to expedite the migration to Snowflake
- Extensive experience of developing ANSI SQL queries and Snowflake compatible stored procedures
- Snowflake certification is preferred
- Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, data modeling methods and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modeling)
- Good communication skill
