About the role

An energetic person who is capable of performing all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle for Carrier Engineering Embedded Platforms for microcontroller/microprocessor-based controls development. Must be self-motivated and should have demonstrated history of successful embedded systems software architecting and designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong Programming expertise in C, C++, STL.
• Strong expertise on OOAD, UML.
• Hands on expertise on Linux OS, RTOS, multithreading
• Development experience with various communication protocols like IP, DHCP, RS232 RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN, CANOpen  etc.
• Confident in the use of GNU (Cross-)Toolchain, (C)Make
• Experience in creating images for different hardware platforms like ARM series (NXP, TI)
• Experience with modern DevOps practices and tools: test-driven development, GIT, automated builds and tests, CI/CD with Gitlab/GitHub, Jenkins, AWS etc.
• Git expertise to ensure merges, rebasing, cherry picking etc
• Expert knowledge of build automation/DevOps tools (e.g. Bitbucket, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Chef/Ansible etc)
• Hands-on experience to build and handle VM’s, Containers utilizing tools like, Docker.
• High-level architecture design and complexity analysis
• Hands on expertise on embedded GUI technologies like QT/QML

Requirements

Qualifications: BE/ME or BTech/MTech – Electronics or BE/BTech in Electronics or ME/MTech in computer Science with 15+ years of experience.
