The Technical Analyst, within the Digital EHS team of the Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS product line, will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing SaaS (Software as a Service) applications used in EHS space. The role requires practical knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), expertise in release management, and the ability to perform assessments to bridge the gap between business and technical analysis.


Responsibilities:


1. Software Development: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements.


- Collaborate with vendors to design and implement software solutions according to technical specifications and business needs.


- Perform SIT/UAT testing and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and performance.


- Integration software components with other systems and platforms as required.


2. Release Management:


- Develop and execute release management strategies and plans for SaaS applications.


- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (vendor, AMS) to ensure smooth and timely release deployments.


- Conduct release readiness assessments and coordinate release activities.


- Manage release activities, including scheduling, communication, and risk assessment.


- Collaborate with stakeholders to define release milestones and deliverables.


3. SaaS Application Lifecycle:


- Ensure the smooth functioning of SaaS applications throughout their lifecycle.


- Monitor and assess the performance, availability, and security of SaaS applications.


- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to identify and resolve application issues.


- Coordinate with stakeholders to define and implement enhancements and updates.


- Maintain documentation and knowledge base related to SaaS application lifecycle.


4. Business and Technical Analysis:


- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


- Conduct assessments of existing SaaS applications and propose optimization strategies.


- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.


- Develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept to demonstrate proposed solutions.


Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with 3+ years practical knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).


- Strong understanding of release management and experience in coordinating release activities.


- Knowledge of the lifecycle of SaaS applications, including provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and retirement.


- Familiarity with SaaS application monitoring tools and techniques.


- Ability to perform business and technical analysis, translating requirements into technical solutions.


- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
