Job Title: Tech Support Engineer


Location: Hyderabad, India

The job


The primary purpose of this role is to work as an integral part of the AVEVA Unified Engineering global support team. 


The Technical Support Engineer's primary responsibility is to provide technical support to all cloud-based or on-premises customers. Key responsibilities include support for technical incidents, handling advanced support requests and aiding Level-1 team i.e. either by supporting the customer directly or by supporting colleagues in the regions around the world with expert technical advice; from time to time support the implementation of non-standard Service Requests.  


Essential requirements


  • Electrical engineer with 1-3 years of experience working with AVEVA E3D / AVEVA Electrical or a similar domain in Technical Software Services/Support role


  • Documentation and technical author experience, process writing, workflow definitions. Able to demonstrate capable customer-facing documentation output


  • Demonstrates a sound background in MS Office tools


  • Self-driven, structured and able to create, refine and execute procedures while also having the ability to think quickly and react positively to any quickly evolving or unexpected scenarios


  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Demonstrates sound presentation skills


  • Willing to travel
