Position Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and deployment of our software applications. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure the smooth integration and operation of our systems. Your primary responsibility will be to automate and streamline our workflows, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software releases. On top of it, there will be additional responsibility of administering cloud tools like Jira & Confluence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying and troubleshooting bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code, using cloud platforms primarily AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions, ensuring the reliability and availability of systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.
• Participate in incident response and resolution, troubleshooting issues and implementing remediation plans.
• Administer cloud tools like Jira and Confluence
• Administer source code management tools like GIT

Qualification:

• Bachelors in Engineering or Equivalent
• Certified in AWS DevOps Desirable
• Linux Strong knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of JIRA Administration, Installation, packaging, etc.

Technical Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in DEVOPS
• Good Experience in installation/configuring of Configuration Management Tools

• Good Experience in installation/configuring of Source Code Management Tools

• Strong experience in Agile, Waterfall models

• Excellent Communication Skills is must as this role is more interactive

• Resolving Tickets promptly

• Good knowledge of All Cloud techniques and learn about future emerging technologies

• Do landscaping of DevOPS and propose alternate suitable solutions

• Able to drive productivity in the existing projects

• Able to innovate and create a roadmap for scalability, security, and compatibility for various platform support.
