Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Team/Tech Lead with strong leadership abilities to guide our development team in building and maintaining high-quality applications using .NET and Azure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, driving technical solutions, and encouraging a collaborative work environment.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high standards of software quality.- Be responsible for the design, development, and deployment.- Collaborate with product managers and team members to define project scope, goals, and work you're doing.- Establish practices for development, including coding standards, testing strategies, and deployment processes.- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.- Tackle and resolve technical issues as they arise.- Stay ahead of with industry trends and new technologies to improve team capabilities.Qualifications:- Demonstrable experience as a Team Lead or Technical Lead in software development.- Strong proficiency in .NET technologies (C#, .NET, etc.) and Azure cloud services (Functions, Service Bus, Storage Account, Databricks, Azure SQL)- Deep understanding of multithreading and asynchronous programming in .NET.- Solid grasp of database technologies (SQL Server, Azure SQL, etc.) and experience with database design, optimization, and data access strategies.- Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL processes to move and transform data between systems. Familiarity with data integration tools and frameworks (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS) for building data pipelines.- Excellent leadership, communication, and social skills.- Ability to nurture a collaborative team environment.- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.- Understanding of security principles and practices for applications, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing optimization techniques to improve application performance.- Experience with event-driven architecture- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (GitLab CI will be good), Terraform- Familiarity with common cross-cutting concerns such as logging, error handling, security, and caching.- Knowledge of Entity Framework (EF) and its use for data access in .NET applications, including code-first and database-first approaches.LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
