Tech Data Automation Leader - India

Job Description:

Define, develop and support Technical Data products, services, tools and processes to fulfill contractual commitments, ensure customer satisfaction and achieve commercial and industrial objectives.

Answer all queries related to deliverables on time and on quality and update applicable technical data as committed.

Ensure responsive assistance, familiarization and smooth entry into service for new customers.

Technical Data is organized in 5 local lines and the position is opened in India local line - IISBD, and functionally aligned with Programs domain. This domain offers a wide view on Maintenance Documentation: From the Design Office who is at the origin of the design and evolution of aircraft design, to the Authoring Domains in charge of documenting their impact in Technical Data products (manuals), and to the support to our customers who are operating and maintaining aircraft Systems. Delivering the complete documentation at aircraft entry into service and maintaining it during the complete aircraft life cycle is our main mission, and is part of the airworthiness requirements.

One of the main challenges is to imagine, define, develop, deploy new innovative ways to author our products (manuals), and to deliver them to our customers. 

In this context, you will be functionally aligned with the SIDBI unit (Technical Data Business Authoring Support). This unit ensures availability of Methods & Tools for Technical Data processes for all applications in line with workflow management, authoring, configuration management, source data and different projects in an agile, complex & integrated environment. 

SIDBI main interfaces are: Authoring Domains of Tech Data organization, Business Application Owners, IT Application Owners, Projects stakeholders, process’s stakeholders, Tech Data Transformation Platform, Future of Tech Data Team and subcontractors. 

SIDBI Team is highly involved in Tech Data Transformation. Indeed, to cope with the aging IT environment and the new constraints coming from Engineering, Airworthiness Authorities, and our customers, it has been decided to launch a complete set of projects to modernize our

Methods & Tools: they are embedded in Tech Data Modernization, Lean PLM, Beyond Lean PLM and Ambition 2030. 

In this challenging frame, you will contribute to the Tech Data Automation mission toward Ambition 2030.

Your missions are: 

• Lead and contribute to Tech Data Automation process & backlog

  
  

• Define the process of Automation for Authoring teams

  
  

• Define the solution for the Automation requests

  
  

• Organize cross-team collaboration and development of automation solutions

  
  

• Contribute to the ideation and development of solutions

  
  

• Build KPIs, Metrics for reporting of outcomes

  
  

• Collaborate horizontally to integrate the automation solutions in existing process flow

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/experience:

• You have an experience on Tech Data and/or you some of tools and applications, will be a plus

  
  

• Strong proficiency in verbal and written English, and ability to use the language for influencing and negotiation.

  
  

• You have a degree in engineering or equivalent.

  
  

• You have experience in dealing with subcontracting activities

  
  

• You have experience with Python & RPA development, and / or other programming / data analytics experience.

  
  

• You appreciate working in transnational environments & you are customer minded.
